Sistrum is a 501 (c)(3) a nonprofit corporation. Donations are tax-deductible. Donations will be used to support the chorus' organizational and operational expenses. Sistrum also thanks you in advance for your support with fundraisers like garage sales, cookie dough and bake sales, all of which help the chorus cover critical expenses. Sistrum Scholarship FundSistrum Lansing Women’s Chorus, would like to offer you the opportunity to support the chorus as well as celebrate someone/something important in your life. A mere $50 donation to the Sistrum Scholarship Fund will allow you to make a dedication for the song of your choice during the 10‐11 performance season. Your 15‐word dedication will be listed in the program booklet corresponding with your song choice and will be incorporated into the multimedia presentation that runs before the show and during intermission. Donations to the Sistrum Scholarship Fund will help us include singers who may not be able to pay the semesterly music fee or purchase performance props and costumes; it will also help those who need it travel to out‐of‐town performances such as the Sister Singers Network Festival and the GALA Choruses Festival. All dedications and payments should be mailed to Sistrum, Lansing Women’s Chorus P.O. Box 6555 East Lansing, MI 48826 and must be received at least 4 weeks before a scheduled concert.
